The Employee Share Purchase Plan (ESPP) is an easy way to share in any future success of Micro Focus.

How does ESPP work?

MicroFocus

You contribute from each payroll for 2 years to buy Micro Focus shares at a discounted price.

Subject a maximum cap of 10,000 shares per offer (increased from 3,000 shares for offers prior to February 2021), you will be able to buy shares following the end of the offer period at the lower of the share price either as at the start of the offer or as at maturity plus an additional 15% discount applied to the share price.

MicroFocus

Subject to your participation in previous offers, you may be able to save from £10 (or your local currency equivalent) up to 10% of your gross base salary per pay period (up to a maximum of your local currency equivalent of $25,000 USD per year across all offers). The amount is then deducted from your net salary.

MicroFocus

If your circumstances change or you change your mind, you can get your contributions refunded at any time prior to the end of the two year offer period.

Due to regulatory restrictions Micro Focus offers a Cash Settled ESPP in certain countries. The plans works on exactly the same basis as the share settled ESPP and at maturity the discount plus any share price increase will be paid as a cash based equivalent.
